Standard & Poor’s confirms 'A-' rating
On October 24th 2008, Standard & Poor's Rating Services confirmed Helvetia's 'A-' rating for the third time in a row.
The outlook is still judged to be stable. Standard & Poor’s explains the consistently good rating for Helvetia with the Group's operating strength and its promising and broad-based position in both its home market Switzerland and its foreign markets.
The rating applies to the two subsidiaries of Helvetia Holding - Helvetia Swiss Insurance Company Ltd and Helvetia Swiss Life Insurance Company Ltd.
