Group structure
Helvetia Group is structured as a holding company under Swiss law. The holding company's registered office is in St.Gallen. The most important subsidiaries of Helvetia Holding AG are Helvetia Insurance St.Gallen and Helvetia Life Basel. A number of other subsidiaries are also included in the scope of consolidation.

Helvetia operates in six European countries:
Except for France, where Helvetia operates as a specialised transport insurer, life and property and casualty insurance products are offered in all markets. Reinsurance cover is sold globally.
