Corporate Governance
Good Corporate Governance is very important to Helvetia. It is consistently geared to the strategy and market position of the Group and integrated in our daily work. Helvetia wants to meet the demanding legal and ethical expectations of its shareholders and all other stakeholder groups. This includes, among other things, transparent and comprehensible reporting as provided in the annual report. Responsible and value-oriented management and controls are another element of Helvetia's good corporate governance.
Guidelines and rules regarding the organisation, conduct and transparency of Helvetia have been designed to guarantee successful corporate development in the long term. The articles of incorporation serve as the «constitution» of the listed company Helvetia Holding. The articles govern basic ownership issues and related rights of co-determination. The organisation rules govern the management organisation as well as the duties and powers of Helvetia’s top governing and executive bodies. Finally, the Code of Compliance sets out the basic rules of conduct applying to the most important compliance topics.
