By answering the following questions about your life situation, we will show you in the possible changes you can make to the order of beneficiaries in the next step.

Note: We will not store your details. The information will only be used to determine your options for change.

If you have children, we need information about their age and education. Stepchildren and foster children are equal to your own children.
Do you have a life partner? In the event of death of the insured person, a continuous domestic partnership must have been maintained for at least 5 years in order to grant a benefit to the life partner accordingly.

Note: You can use this form to define the regulatory entitlement concerning the restitution of contributions and, if applicable, an additional insured lump-sum death benefit.

The so-called restitution of contributions is a lump sum payment of the retirement savings of the deceased person, which is only possible if the retirement savings are not required to finance a spouse's pension, a pension to a divorced spouse or a partner's pension.

Important: If you want to additionally cover your partner with a life partner's pension, you must complete the form "Registration for a partner’s pension" and submit it to us.

Request for change in the order of beneficiaries under the regulations, before retirement

Based on your information, you can grant a benefit to the following people:

b) The following persons listed below can only be designated as beneficiaries if none of the persons listed under a) exist

c) The following persons listed below can only be designated as beneficiaries if none of the persons listed under a) or b) exist

Note: You can only grant a benefit to other legal heirs if you have neither living siblings nor living parents. The other legal heirs can only benefit to the amount of 50% of existing retirement assets. Grandparents and their descendants are considered to be other legal heirs within the meaning of the regulations. The community cannot be favoured.

Note: If, in the event of death of the insured person, a beneficiary under the regulations asserts a claim, the Foundation cannot guarantee compliance with the desired regulation. In any case, the circumstances and the pension fund regulations in force at the time of death are decisive. We recommend a periodic review of the order of beneficiaries that you have submitted. This change to the order of beneficiaries replaces all the amendments submitted so far.

Good to know

Under categories a) – c) we have listed all persons who may be the beneficiary of a survivor’s benefit; other persons will not be considered. Furthermore, only those persons in the same category may be named beneficiaries. There are additional restrictions for those receiving a spouse’s pension and for divorced spouses. You should therefore read the applicable regulations.
