Please notify us immediately of cases of suspension of work of persons to be insured, but no later than 60 days after the suspension.
When a person who is not employed for the whole year leaves the company permanently, this must be reported using the “Termination of Employment” form.
A suspension of work corresponds to a regularly recurring time-out which is typical of the work carried out (e.g. seasonal employment as a ski instructor), or the suspension of work takes place at the employer's request (e.g. for an internship or training abroad). A period of unpaid leave is usually a one-off time-out from work, regardless of an employee's contractual holiday entitlement, which the insured person has voluntarily chosen to take and during which the employment relationship continues without remuneration. When an employee who is not employed for the whole year leaves the company permanently, this must be reported as a definitive departure.
