In early November 2017, London-based magazine Global Banking & Finance Review voted Helvetia Switzerland's best life insurer. The analysts, editorial team and the magazine's publishers assessed Helvetia and the other candidates using a variety of criteria such as business performance, strategic positioning and innovation potential.

Best Recruiters 2017/18

On 12 July 2018, Helvetia won the gold award in Zurich as “Best Recruiter” in the finance and insurance industry. Helvetia came fourth out of all 400 companies from Switzerland that were evaluated – an excellent result.

Helvetia defended its position among Switzerland's top 100 employers. Universum surveyed 11,000 students at the 70 leading universities on topics such as career prospects and attractiveness as an employer.

The online portal Statista – in cooperation with the evaluation portal Kununu – conducted a survey on what Swiss employees appreciate about their employers and whether they would recommend them. Helvetia placed in the top 10 insurance and health insurance companies in Switzerland.

The Competence Center for Diversity & Inclusion at the University of St. Gallen undertook a statistical test of the salaries of Helvetia employees as regards noticeable and inexplicable differences between men and women. As at 31 December 2018, Helvetia salaries conform to the principle of “equal pay for equal work” as enshrined in the Federal Constitution.

The Human Resources Excellence Awards were bestowed on innovative personnel management projects in Berlin on 24 November 2017, with the award for the HR Innovation of the Year going to our recruitment platform, Helvetia Live Jobs.
