Pick up your smartphone and off you go: A chat takes you through claims settlement with no fuss in just a few questions.

The spread of digitisation is making many things easier in our lives. More and more, transactions and tasks can be completed anywhere using mobile technology. Helvetia is convinced that insurance should work just the same. That’s why we’re developing simple solutions that work on any device and that are paperless and convenient.

Helvetia is the first insurance company in Switzerland to offer claims settlement via chatbot. The chat can be conducted round the clock via smartphone and lasts about 90 seconds – including payment of the cost of the loss. The chatbot service is initially focussed on German-speaking customers who wish to report the theft of a bicycle.
