What does &Go mean to me?
To me, &Go means the courage to face new things. We must all abandon our old ways and look to the future. This is particularly important in the recruitment field, where we constantly appeal to new talents.
We must adopt new, digital ways of doing things – encouraging new ideas and implementing them. Part of that is questioning how things are done in this or that field, adopting new, future-oriented approaches in order to bring about change.
What do I do when I'm not searching for talent?
I'm engrossed in my books, and I enjoy talking about them in my book club. I love discovering fascinating places anywhere in the world. Also I'm passionate about dance:
I've been attending ballet school for a good 28 years, which makes me part of the extended ballet family.
My personal tip for your interview:
Don't pretend to be something you're not. If you do, this can lead to a discussion that's stilted and difficult – so it's best to come across as credible and authentic. You should find out as much as possible about the company beforehand. Being well prepared will help to boost your self-confidence.
Formulate a few questions in advance, even critical ones – and try to take away as much as possible from the discussion. This will give you a good picture of the new job and the new employer. They shouldn't just suit you in professional terms: you need to feel at ease with the corporate culture as well.
