Student interns: a strong team at work and at play

Around once a month, the student interns at Helvetia's head office in Basel get together for a leisurely beer after work. That gives them the chance to chat, report on their internship experiences and discuss current topics at Helvetia.

«For a few months now, I have been organizing regular get-togethers for the student interns in Basel. I myself am completing an internship in Talent Management and started the meet-up group for interns. My aim is to enable the interns to get in touch with each other as that is not so easy during the working day. We work in different areas and in various locations around Basel.

Taste and talk

We meet up for a drink after work in bars in the Basel area or at events such as the Autumn Fair. We recently met up at Kitchen Brew in Allschwil for a beer-tasting night. After work, we sampled a range of beers brewed in-house there and enjoyed a great evening with a good chat.

Of the almost 30 student interns in Basel, a small group regularly attends the meet-ups. We are always happy to see new faces and welcome new additions to our group. The next meet-up is scheduled for the end of February.
