The Core Solutions unit develops and integrates appropriate and future-oriented IT solutions for our core business, including insurance quotes and proposals, inventory and policy management and solutions for processing claims. For instance, we developed and implemented a new contracting tool called "BVGonline" within a few months in collaboration with the Occupational Benefits department. Our customers are the centre of our activities – the specialist units of Helvetia.
Our customers are not standard, they require agile and specific consulting and solution developments. We place great importance on sustainable and robust solutions that provide our specialist units with greater flexibility and freedom to focus more on customers.
We use both standard and bespoke software in our environment. Standard solutions serve as a basis for optimum automation. By collaborating in projects and setting up competence centres (e.g. automation, parameterization), we are building a bridge to the future and actively shaping developments and innovations at Helvetia.
We use an agile collaboration model in interdisciplinary teams. Our current focus is on running and developing the inventory systems and applications as well as replacing legacy systems and transformation projects.
Our teams have a great variety of IT skills, experience and in-depth specialist knowledge which allow us to offer efficient IT solutions to our customers.
