We generate information and insights from data in order to make them available to the right stakeholders in the right format at the right time.

What exactly do you do?

The tasks of the Data & Analytics department vary widely. They range from data and system integration and designing, realizing and operating business reporting solutions to developing and implementing analytical models and complex data analyses. Not to mention defining and applying measures for safe data handling and management.

How do you do this?

We use the latest technologies for analytics – our new data science workbench runs in the cloud. We continuously develop and enhance the proven on-premise tools used daily by our employees and customers.

We also use versatile and modern programming languages like Python and R, as well as cloud-based solutions for reporting and monitoring.

Furthermore, we use machine learning and natural language processing in order to improve our understanding of our customers and to design our services to match their needs even better.

What makes your work exciting?

Actively participating and getting involved is expressly desired and encouraged. Furthermore, working together with all the divisions of Helvetia provides us with opportunities to implement exciting projects.

What are your challenges?

All our efforts are aimed at developing Helvetia into an even more strongly data-driven customer-centred organization. Decisions need to be supported by solid data.

Some of the use cases we are working on include generating customer insights to support campaigns as well as using publicly accessible geoanalytics data.
