The 18-month Young Insurance Professionals (VBV) training promises to give you quick access to the exciting world of insurance and a company in which you will be a person rather than a number.
While you are in the company you will get to know the day-to-day business of the various areas of insurance and work as an active member of the team. Spending one to three days per month at college, you will expand your knowledge of the basic principles of the insurance industry and underwriting.
In addition to your training, you will attend various events such as the Kick-off, Inspiration Days and the General Assembly. You will then attend the FitforExams Camp to revise what you have learned, so that you can pass your final exams with flying colours.
After completing your apprenticeship, you will either have the option of seeking a permanent position in one of Helvetia's specialist insurance departments, or of following external advanced training, e.g. the university of applied sciences for insurance (HFV), the risk & insurance bachelor's degree pro-gramme, or a course of study leading to the Swiss Federal Certificate in Insurance. Helvetia will be pleased to support you in your advanced training.
The Young Insurance Professionals (VBV) training starts each September. However, if possible we already make a start on practical training in the workplace in August.
