After graduating: off to a flying start as a trainee

Nathalie Prack

For outward-looking university graduates, Helvetia offers its own 12-month trainee programme consisting of three to four separate modules. Even if you have no previous work experience this gives you a good opportunity to try out your skills in practice and show what you can do!

With a bachelor's or master's degree under your belt – e.g. in economics (business administration, macroeconomics, finance), information technology, law, mathematics, physics, psychology or similar – you will have the opportunity to gain an insight into the varied world of insurance. With professional guidance from our mentors, you take responsibility for your own tasks and sub-projects and get to know several areas of the company.

A wide range of insights and good prospects

The 3 to 4-month modules cover the insurance business, sales and support functions (e.g. in areas such as finance or HR). In the finance trainee programme, the modules take place within the finance department. In the IT trainee programme they take place within the IT department.

As there are plans to internationalize the programme, you will also have the opportunity for an exciting mission abroad.

The aim of the trainee programme is to provide you with the best possible preparation for subsequent permanent employment as a technical specialist or junior manager. Part-time employment is also possible.
