Partnership with the "Football is more” Foundation

FMI
FMI
In addition to the "Helvetia Swiss Cup", Helvetia’s involvement with football also includes acting as a partner to the "Football is more" Foundation.

Since 2011, the Foundation has been holding football tournaments for youth clubs in which disabled and able-bodied sportspeople participate. Through this engagement, Helvetia wishes to play a part in supporting young people.

“Football is more” Foundation

The “Football is more” Foundation gives disadvantaged children and young people access to football. It supports the education and health of young people, as well as their integration into society.

The Foundation does meaningful work by planning and organizing sponsored projects both nationally and internationally. The aim of "Football is more" is to expand its own network – which comprises politics, science, economy, donors, football clubs and non-profit organizations – in a targeted way and to bring these areas closer to one another.

Global participation

Many well-known international clubs such as Real Madrid and Liverpool FC are involved in this project. In Switzerland, the following associations are members of the “FIM family”:

  • FC Lugano
  • FC St.Gallen
  • FC Zürich
