You have a dispute with the neighbours, the landlord raises your rent unjustly, your new car gets damaged in an accident or you are hit by a car whilst crossing the street. Legal disputes are generally unexpected and can cost a lot of money, time and stress. Legal protection insurance ensures that competent specialists are there to represent your rights appropriately.
Often proving yourself right is no easy matter. So what legal protection will really come good if the worst happens? According to a K-Tipp survey carried out among lawyers in German-speaking Switzerland, Coop Rechtsschutz AG, Helvetia’s independent partner, offers the best service.
The comprehensive combined legal protection offers both motoring and personal legal protection. The legal expenses insurance for motorists can also be concluded individually, however. Both benefits are available for families or individuals. They are offered in cooperation with our independent partner Coop Rechtsschutz.
The legal expenses insurance for motorists supports your legal interests as the owner, driver and renter of motor vehicles but also as a pedestrian, cyclist, scooter rider and passenger on any means of transport, and will cover legal consultancy costs, solicitors’, experts’, court and litigation costs and any compensation paid out.
For legal disputes with neighbours under civil law, the combined legal protection offers you support, covering legal advice as well as solicitors’ and experts’ fees. In addition, the court and litigation costs are covered as is any compensation paid out.
The combined legal protection also protects your legal interests where there is a dispute with your employer. You can count on competent legal advice – e.g. where the legal situation is unclear – and the cost of court proceedings will be covered.
With the combined legal protection you can count on legal support for disputes whether you are a tenant or a landlord. Your legal interests will be well represented thanks to competent and independent specialists. Solicitors’ costs and other expenses are covered.
The combined legal protection covers other cases of legal protection too. This way you can assert your rights as a patient, property owner, policyholder or consumer, for example.
When collisions occur on the road, it happens more often than we would like that there is no agreement on who is at fault and an expensive lawyer with specialist knowledge must be appointed. With the Helvetia legal expenses insurance this is not a problem.
On a tour you have booked you find the hotel does not correspond to the category promised. What’s more, it is located directly alongside a construction site, so there’s no chance of peace and relaxation. The travel agent is unwilling to offer a refund, however. You are able to pursue your demands thanks to the legal protection insurance.
Minor disputes often end up in court. A quarrel with the neighbour because the music is too loud, the tree hangs too far over the boundary or there is a disagreement among condominium owners. Our neighbours can be a help or a hindrance. With the legal protection from Helvetia, you can rest easy.
The guarantee sum is the maximum amount that Helvetia will cover for each insured person and/or insured benefit.
This includes, for example, lawyers' fees, expert fees, procedural costs and court fees, compensation payments, bail to avoid custody and translation costs.
Compared to other providers of legal expenses insurance , Helvetia provides a high guarantee sum (max. CHF 500,000), whereby you have no deductible and can choose your own lawyer.
The insured benefits apply worldwide. However, the guarantee sum outside of Europe is reduced to CHF 50,000.
The insurance covers the policyholder, their spouse or cohabiting partner and any family members living in the same household.
