Commitment to art

Helvetia sees art as part of its corporate culture. As well as collecting Swiss art and promoting young artists by awarding its own art prize, the company has set itself the task of educating people about art.

By adding an "aesthetic" touch to the reception, working and communal areas in the form of works from its art collection and by staging exhibitions in the Helvetia Art Foyer, the company’s in-house art gallery, Helvetia seeks to provide its employees with day-to-day encounters with art.

Helvetia has one of the most important corporate art collections in Switzerland, comprising more than 1,800 works by around 400 artists. It holds exhibitions in the Art Foyer, its in-house art gallery, to make its works accessible to the public.

A long-standing tradition: Collecting Swiss art

Over a period of seventy years, Helvetia has amassed a collection of Swiss art dating from the early twentieth century to the present.
