The Helvetia Venture Fund is investing in flatfox. The Zurich-based start-up provides a digital rental process for residential property via its platform for private persons and professional agencies. The process simplifies and structures communication between providers and potential tenants while also providing integration with current systems. All processes from responding to any queries to selecting the tenant take place online or by app in flatfox Messenger.

Expansion planned
Besides Helvetia Venture Fund, the Investis Group and Ringier Digital Ventures are also taking part in the financing round. flatfox will use the capital to grow the company in terms of content and geographically in Switzerland. In addition, the company will work to strengthen current business relationships, further develop its product and acquire new clients.

Part of the 'Home' ecosystem
Helvetia Insurance already works with flatfox in property management and the sale of insurance. "flatfox is part of our 'Home' ecosystem through which we cover all our customers’ housing-related needs from one source", explains Martin Tschopp, Head of Corporate Development at Helvetia. "It was through this cooperation that we gained our confidence in the flatfox business model. It made sense to route the investment through the Venture Fund."
