Helvetia was founded in 1858 and is one of the oldest reinsurers in the world. We stand for reliable insurance and reinsurance services and are one of the three founding companies of the Swiss Reinsurance Company in Zurich who signed its first reinsurance contract ever with Helvetia in 1863.
