The renowned Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC) is a key (re)insurance event globally. Due to the unprecedented Covid-19 times we are now in, this conference was cancelled and replaced for the first time by a virtual SIRC 2020 event, "SIRC 2020 Re-Mind – setting the standard for industry events in the future digital world" , from 2nd to 5th November 2020.
There were several interfaces on the virtual platform on the SIRC platform that had to be served; Together, we were able to jointly provide an image video of our office incl. team as well as various marketing tools for our virtual Helvetia booth. The preparation of statistics at the end of the conference was also taken into account. We also had great support from Sonja, Specialist in Marketing and Communications SpL.
There were close to 1,500 virtual delegates who registered for this conference and over 10% of them visited us at our virtual booth! This first virtual conference was a great for the organizers, as evidenced by the positive feedback received from participants.
It was a valuable experience for us; we were able to prepare our virtual participation within a short timeframe to present successfully Helvetia Swiss Asia virtually to a large audience on the market for the first time.
