Theftex develops and distributes various solutions to increase security in the supply chain of its customers. In addition to cut-resistant tarpaulins for trucks, which trigger an alarm in the event of an attempted theft by so-called tarpaulin slitters, smart door opening sensors have also been developed. With Theftex, the power consumption of only 1/1000 of what the sending of a simple SMS would consume is sufficient to transmit the alarm message. This leads to an on-board network-independent running time in the truck of about 14 years, as an alternative to about 5,000 opening messages sent to the customer.
