smile.mobility is the first product that smile is launching in Spain. The liability insurance for electric scooters stands out because of its customer approach: 100% digital, simple and fast. The launch is being led by CEO Guido Candrian and his team. In cooperation with Caser, further products are already planned for 2024.

smile.car in Austria
Milestone in Austria: direct insurer smile is launching the first car insurance outside Switzerland. With the launch of smile.car in Austria, smile customers can now conclude policies directly for the first time outside of the Swiss domestic market. Together with the upcoming expansion into Spain, the Swiss online insurer is thus establishing an important pillar in its internationalization strategy.

Helvetia recognized as European "Top Employer"

The Helvetia Group has been awarded the European "Top Employer" seal for the first time. The Swiss market has won the "Top Employer" seal for the third, and Germany and Austria for the second time in a row. France and Italy also participated in the auditing and passed. Helvetia impresses at Group level in the fields of business strategy, organization and change as well as ethics and integrity. Winning the European seal in five country markets shows that Helvetia is a first-class employer for both current and potential employees.

Helvetia internationalisiert mit einer Niederlassung in Grossbritannien ihr Geschäft weiter. Helvetia Global Solutions erhält für ihre britische Niederlassung die behördliche Genehmigung für das Specialty-Lines-Geschäft. Dazu gehört auch die Zeichnung internationaler Risiken im Specialty-Lines-Geschäft, zum Beispiel in General Aviation und im Transportgeschäft. Die britische Niederlassung wird von Marc Davis geleitet.
