In the area of snow sports, Helvetia Switzerland supports selected associations and events, including the Swiss-Ski Association, the FIS Alpine World Cup, the Loipen Switzerland cross-country skiing association and the Engadin Skimarathon.
Since the 2011/2012 winter season, Helvetia has been a premium sponsor of the “FIS Cross-Country World Cup”. This cross-country skiing competition has been held since 1981 and includes four disciplines each for men and women. As a sponsor of individual athletes, Helvetia Germany also supports German cross-country skiing professionals.
Helvetia Austria is sponsor of the “Austria eXtreme Triathlon”, which includes a 3.8-kilometre river swim, a 186-kilometre bike ride and a 44-kilometre run. A total elevation gain of 5,800 metres makes this triathlon a very special challenge. As an individual sponsor, Helvetia Austria also supports selected athletes from different sporting disciplines such as ski cross and freeriding
Since 2016, boats sailing under the Helvetia flag have also been participating in the “Tour de France à la Voile”. For 40 years, three-hulled, super-light trimarans have been circumnavigating France as part of this traditional event. A total of 600 nautical miles are covered during the three-week regatta. Helvetia France also supports the “ultra trailer” François Lerogeron, who has already participated in the Marathon des Sables on several occasions: a six-stage, approximately 230-kilometre run through the Moroccan Sahara.
Helvetia Italy is committed to various snow sport projects, including the “Tour delle Alpi”. This event stops at various locations in northern Italy and provides skiers with the opportunity to test the latest skis. Helvetia also sponsors the “Helvetia LED Run”, which likewise covers various ski resorts in the north of Italy. After the sun sets, selected pistes are lit up in a range of colours with LED lights, making the descent an extraordinary experience.
For Helvetia Spain, teamwork is the key to success. For this reason, Helvetia Spain sponsors selected sports clubs and associations in the team sports of handball, floorball, rugby, football and rowing.
