If you make a new acquisition in a category of valuables that is already insured, such as watches and jewellery or art, we offer you provisional insurance cover of up to CHF 50,000 for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. For example, if your newly purchased watch is stolen on your holiday and you have not yet insured it, we will still pay for the claim.
… a burglar helps themselves to your artworks
… you lose your watch while in transit
… your instrument is damaged by a burst water pipe.
… your collection is destroyed in a fire.
… your jewellery is stolen after being left in an unlocked vehicle.
… the damage to the item is due to normal wear and tear.
… if your valuable grand piano is damaged by a removal firm during transport. In such cases, the removal firm is liable.
