What is provisional cover?

If you make a new acquisition in a category of valuables that is already insured, such as watches and jewellery or art, we offer you provisional insurance cover of up to CHF 50,000 for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. For example, if your newly purchased watch is stolen on your holiday and you have not yet insured it, we will still pay for the claim.
