We are part of the Helvetia Baloise Group.
Helvetia and Baloise officially merged in December 2025. The merger is now being implemented in stages. In Switzerland, our brands, products and appearances will remain separate for the first few months, including online and on the careers pages.
Behind the scenes, however, we are already working closely together to combine the strengths of both companies and ensure a smooth transition to the new joint organization.
From 1 January 2026, all new positions in Switzerland will be published on the Helvetia careers page. However, they will also still be visible on the Baloise careers page. This means you can access the vacancies from both websites. Your application will be recorded centrally and reviewed by the Recruiting team.
Absolutely! Starting now means that you will become part of the exciting merger of Helvetia and Baloise and benefit from the potential and opportunities it creates.
Once you’ve submitted your documents, you’ll receive a confirmation of receipt. Our Recruiting team will check everything carefully and will then get back to you with feedback or invite you to an interview.
he process, contacts and communication will remain unchanged. This means you’ll still be able to find your way around, and we’ll guide you through the application process step by step.
Even though each company still has a separate external market appearance, we are already working as a team behind the scenes. All documents will be processed centrally. You can find more information about this in our privacy policy.
During the transitional phase, you will receive an employment agreement from Helvetia with Helvetia’s working conditions and benefits. In exceptional cases, your agreement may be issued by Baloise, in which case you’ll be informed in good time by the Recruiting team. However, new agreements with Helvetia Baloise Holding Ltd will follow in the foreseeable future.
During the transitional period, you will be contractually affiliated with Helvetia or Baloise (see question 6). Externally, the two brands will initially remain separate in the first few months after the merger (see question 1). In the background, however, we are already a team and working closely together. You will be part of the new joint team from the outset and will get to know your manager.
The new company includes all previous Baloise and Helvetia locations in Switzerland and around the world. Helvetia Baloise is headquartered in Basel, Switzerland. We are also united and broadly positioned internationally. The network of locations includes Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Austria, France, Spain, Italy, the UK, Singapore and the USA.
