Easily report transport claims via the app

Helvetia has developed a new app for transport insurance which will make it much easier for shippers to report transport claims.

Helvetia Insurance is launching an app for digital claims notifications in the area of transport insurance. The app allows HGV drivers and employees dealing with incoming goods to report transport claims quickly and easily. All necessary information will be requested directly, while photos, videos and voice messages can be attached and the location is transmitted automatically. This eliminates the need for time-consuming follow-up questions in the event of incomplete claims notifications. In the app, users can define whether the notification is to be sent directly to Helvetia or if it should first be sent to another person, such as an employee of the shipping company or a broker. "Helvetia aims to offer simple and clear services to its customers. As Switzerland's leading transport insurer, the new claims notification system represents a significant step towards fulfilling our ambition", says David Ribeaud, CEO Specialty Markets and Member of the Helvetia Executive Management.
